Sooo, one of my personal requisites for 2008 [I can't call them resolutions, because I'll definitely break them or ignore them] is to take more photographs, as a means of preparing me for a MFA program [more details on that sooooooon] and to continue to do what I love...

I plan to photograph every day this year, and blog it here, so stay tuned!

Here's today's photo:

My sister-in-law's [Adorably Less Angry Nephew's mommy] birthday was today, and we celebrated her being 20 again for the ____th time :) Happy Birthday Shawnice! My brother mixed some trick candles in with the regular ones because he's just plain mischievous.

Okay okay, I lied about one photo :) Here's my brother with Adorably Less Angry Nephew:

Father + Son

It was great to be around family for the holidays. There's nothing like it. I feel really blessed to have such a supportive family in what I want to do education-wise and career-wise and allow me to capture our memories :)

Hope everyone has a safe, happy and fulfilling 2008. :)

Yet another Adorably Less Angry Nephew Blog :-D

because he's soooo cute, and soooooo much fun to photograph, I'm bringing y'all another session. my arm healed up nicely and I'm able to type with very little pain :-D

He was a cooperative subject! Grandpa helped be my co-heckler which was a big help. It's challenging to hold a camera and yodel at the same time. Wait. I really don't yodel. I promise. It's more of a warble. Gotta do whatever I can to get a smile!

Laughter. Baby Laughter.

He LOVES to be by the window, staring out at I don't know what:

More. Grandpa was my assistant today :)

In deep thought. Eating his mirror.

Cookie Monster wants a piece of the action.

Basically, he runs things. He tells Grandpa when and where and how to hold his bottle. I got a stern glare [from him] last time he got a bottle from me, so I'm sure he's demonstrating how it needs to be done next time:

Running things...Grandpa Edition

I have a new toy, a Blackberry [though I'm beginning to see why they call it Crackberry], and when it's pressed against his little tummy, and blaring out a ringtone, this is his expression. You can't see, but he's got his hands on his tummy trying to understand why it's blaring Lupe Fiasco's 'Superstar':

Wondering why my blackberry is pressed against his tummy and making sounds.

Introspection. Possibly Pooping:

Giving me his GQ look. We're gonna work on Blue Steel next:

Adorable-ness.
