Randomosity: San Antonio
This past week I was in San Antonio, Texas for our first annual School Network Meeting.
Here's a sunset from the plane:

And a view of the sun setting from my hotel:

We walked around the Riverwalk, and also wandered into the Valencia Hotel:

No one is at the Alamo on a late night Thursday:

During the day, however, that's a different story. I tried to go a little more abstract here:

At the door:

Oooooh texture:

Sometimes I like to remind myself how short I am :)

Go Vikings! (My HS Mascot!)

I didn't get any other cool shots because I barrrrellly made my flight to DFW, and then that flight was delayed because of an engine problem, and by the time it landed I had to BOLT to my connecting flight to D.C. During the time I put my Pumas to the test, my phone decided to be daring and flew out of my pocket, slid across the shiny DFW airport floors, flew into pieces and then down the up escalator! Talk about sadness! Some nice Texan helped me pick up the pieces, but as I was reaching for the battery, it slipped out of my fingers and then slid down the median between the up and down escalators! Once I got to the bottom (to be an esca-lefter is a common behavior in Texas, apparently), I tried very hard to reach the battery with my T-Rex short arms and failed :(. A nice D.C.-ite saw my struggle, and helped me! Yay for strangers! And my phone SURVIVED! It has a little crack in it, but works fine :)
Coming soon, more photos (of course!) :)
